Helambu Trekking

Helambu Trekking 11 Days

It lies to the north of Kathmandu where dominantly Sherpa and Tamang races have their homes. The trekkers come in contact with temperate forests and alpine pastures, glaciers lakes and snowy peaks, which sometimes give the feeling of heaven.

This delightful journey starts from the north of the Kathmandu Valley. It is an ideal trip for those who have little time and would like to combine a cultural experience with scenery at its best.

Helambu is inhabited by an ethnic group of Sherpas quite different from those in the Solu Khumbu area. One the delights of this trek is that the trails are never overcrowded, even during the peak tourist season, and most of the greenery forests are quite intact.
